The Cause of Global Warming

As we know, global warming is happening on our Earth. Global warming is impacting the increase in overall temperature of the Earth. From pole to pole, from one continent to another. All affected by global warming. Global average temperature at Earth's surface has risen 0.74 ° C ± 0:18 (1:33 ± 0:32 ° F) during the last hundred years. Can we imagine what will happen in the future. With all that we do now, global warming is not declining, but growing up.

The main thing is the cause of global warming due to greenhouse effect. Not that the greenhouse we use to grow crops. But the greenhouse effect here is figurative. That the current state of the Earth was like being in a greenhouse. Greenhouse we used to confine the heat, and now we confine ourselves in the greenhouse.

Earth gets energy from the sun. Light reaching the Earth will turn into heat that warms and energizes the Earth. Earth absorbs some heat and reflect the rest into space. The remainder of this heat is mostly in the form of infrared. But because the Earth's atmosphere was too much of greenhouse gases like water vapor, carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, and methane, then the light reflected from Earth into space will go back to Earth. Reflected due to greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. That is one of the causes of global warming.

So what should we do to reduce global warming?

There are so many we can do to reduce global warming. Just like using 3R, Recycle, Reuse, and Reduce. Use a product that are available to recycle, reuse, and reduce the use of the product that last only for one time use.

The other way to reduce global warming is by changing your regular light bulbs with compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs. That way you can reduce the heat caused by the regular bulb.

And then, you can start planting trees around you. Where you live, where you study, just try to plant as many as possible trees. With that way, you can reduce the level of carbon dioxide on our Earth. That mean global warming is also reduced. Global warming could be reduced if we try to do so.
