Earth's Layer

Earth is of the terrestrial planet in the solar system. In the Solar System, Earth is the fifth bigger planet. Earth is the third planet from the Sun. Sun is the center of our Solar System, Milky Way. Earth is orbiting to the Sun, just like the other planets in the Solar System.

Earth's orbit distance from the Sun is about 149,600,000 km. Or usually called 1.00 AU (astronomic Unit). The Earth's diameter is 12,756.3 km. And it's mass is 5.972e24 kg.

Earth is divided by some layers. From the mantle to the core. Here are the depth details in KM.

0- 40  Crust
40-400  Upper mantle
400-650  Transition region
650-2890  Lower mantle
2890-5150  Outer core
5150-6378  Inner core

That's a little explanation of Earth layer. The Structure of the Earth. It was the things inside the Earth. And on the top of the ground, there are still so much things to explore.
